We look forward to welcoming our motorhome friends at the “aire de stationnement de Long” stopover in the heart of the great outdoors, in the Somme Valley, half-way between the Bay of Somme and the Amiénois. The 8 spaces are situated close to the former hydroelectric power station and alongside the 2 star “La Peupleraie” municipal campsite. The parking area is open all year round. Water, electricity and waste water disposal points. You can enjoy a picnic close by using 1 of the tables alongside the river. Ideas for outings: the former hydroelectric power station is now a museum, worthy of the imagination of Jules Verne, explaining how the abundance of peat moss helped finance the production of electricity. It is a listed building. Saint-Jean Baptiste church is also well worth visiting.
