The Castle of Rambures
A listed historic monument from 1840, it is a remarkable example of 15th century military architecture, starred in the Michelin Green Guide and represented in France Miniature. With the appearance of a powerful fortress with enormous round towers connected by curtains with machicolations and a covered way, the castle was designed to withstand the artillery of the time. In the company of a guide, you will discover the interior of the fortress transformed in the 18th century into a pleasure residence, with in particular a neo-Gothic dining room, Picardy furniture from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. The King's room hosted Henri IV on several occasions.
