The site of the battle, a place called "Moulin Edouard III"
On leaving Crécy, in the direction of Wadicourt, an observation tower was erected on the site of the windmill, from which King Edward III of England led the fighting, on August 26, 1346. The army French car driven by Philippe VI of Valois undergoes a scathing defeat.
It’s the start of the Hundred Years War.

The Bohemian Cross
This cross commemorates the heroic end of Jean de Luxembourg, who came to the aid of Philippe VI, king of France, at the battle of Crécy. It is located on departmental road 56, in the direction of Fontaine-sur-Maye, in the town of Estrées-les Crécy.

Saint-Séverin church
Flamboyant Gothic style building, the church is marked mainly by the imprint of the 15th century.
The quadrangular bell tower, surmounted by a lookout sentry box, is the oldest part. It dates from the 13th century.

The cross of the town
Located in the heart of the village, this monument remains enigmatic. It dates from the 13th century. This building was erected, by order of Edward I, King of England, in posthumous homage to his wife Eléonore de Castille, Countess of Ponthieu.

The national forest
It is the largest forest in the Somme department crossed by the GR 123. It is home to large beech and oak groves. As you walk or cycle, you will be able to observe some twenty remarkable trees, and also sculpted trees.
