Réserve Ornithologique Baie de Somme - Grand-Laviers

Close to Abbeville and five minutes from the Bay of Somme as the crow flies, discover the Grand-Laviers Bird Reserve. This former 40 hectare industrial site, acquired and refurbished by the “Fondation des Habitats de la Faune Sauvage” (Foundation of the Habitat of Wild Fauna) and the “Fédération des Chasseurs de la Somme” (Federation of the Somme Hunters), today plays host to an amazing range of migratory avifauna: pied avocet, black-winged stilt, black-necked grebe, waders, ducks and other wading birds. Days and times of nature outings: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 12pm.
